Body-Bonnet Casting Material

A) A 216 Gr. WCB
Carbon Steel. Regurarly furnished in all valves. If for prolonged service at elevated temperatures, consideration should be given to the possibility of graphite formation in in flanged valves at temperatures above 800 °F (427 °C); in welding valves above 775 °F (413 °C).
B) A 217 Gr. WC1
Carbon 1/2% Molybdenum steel. Suitable for slightly higher allowable pressures then carbon steel above 650 °F (343 °C). If for prolonged service at elevated temperatures, consideration should be given to the possibility of graphite formation at temperatures above 875 °F (468 °C).
C) A 127 Gr. WC6
1-1.1/2% Chromium 1/2% Molybdenum steel. For use on temperatures to 1000 °F (538 °C).
D) A 217 Gr. WC9
2/3% Chromium 1/2% Molybdenum steel. For use on temperatures from 1000 °F (538 °C) to 1050 °F (566 °C).
E) A 217 Gr. C5
4/6% Chromium 1/2% Molybdenum steel for high temperature corrosive oil service.
F) A 217 Gr. C12
8/10% Chromium 1% Molybdenum steel for high temperature corrosive oil service from 1050 °F (566 °C) to 1200 °F (649 °C).
G) A 352 Gr. LCB
A Carbon steel for low temperature applications to minus 50 °F (-46 °C).
H) A 352 Gr. LC2
A Carbon 2/3% Nickel steel for low temperature applications to minus 100 °F (-73 °C).
I) A 352 Gr. LC3
A low Carbon 3/4% Nickel steel for low temperature applications to minus 150 °F (-101 °C).
J) A 351 Gr. CF8
18/21% Chromium 8/11% Nickel austenittic stainless steel for corrosive resistance to many fluids.
K) A 351 Gr. CF8M
18/21% Chromium 8/11% Nickel 2/3% Molybdenum austenittic stainless steel, for greater resistance to pitting type of corrosion and higher resistance than 18/8 SS to general corrosion.
L) A 351 Gr. CF8C
18/21% Chromium 8/11% Nickel 2/3% stabilized stainless steel for corrosive fluids. Suitable for prolonged service at temperatures between 930 °F (500 °C) and 1470 °F (800 °C).
